This has pretty much nothing to do with the fact that Rony started DJ´ng as Rony Rex a decade ago. Since then, Rony has established himself as one of Finland´s top dance music tastemakers with his eccentric performances, off-the-wall releases and collaborations with artists like Carla Monroe, girli, GFOTY, Rye Rye, Madge, TT The Artist and Dances With White Girls. He’s also known for his sweaty club events, and a very own radio show currently airing on the Finnish BBC 1 equivalent YLEX.

Rony’s music is a bubbly, quirky and housey mix of influences coming together as something that is heavily club culture focused, but doesn’t sway away from flirting with pop and indie soundscapes. There must be something to it as Rony’s tunes have been picked up by brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Nickelodeon and many others on the regular. You might have also heard his tunes played out by artists like Diplo, Dillon Francis, Anna Lunoe and a plethora of other places like BBC, Triple J, and various SiriusXM shows.

Celebrating the first 10 years of his career in 2023, Rony released his debut mixtape album featuring some of his best-known, hidden gems, personal favorites, and of course; brand new tunes!
